All Is Bright coloring pagesThis is a lovely coloring and activity book from Tyndale Publishing House.  Perfect for the Christmas season.  The cover is a nice heavy card-stock and the pages are fairly heavyweight.   I used crayons for the picture I colored and they colored on smoothly.  I should have used colored pencils to see if I could get a deeper color because the page ended up looking a little washed out.

I loved that there is a page with a devotional and a coloring page for each day of the month.  That would be a neat thing to do with your kids for the month of December.   Also loved the extra coloring pages and activities at the back of the book geared more for kids.  There's even one where you can color Christmas balls and cut them out.  The only problem I have with that is that the designs are on back and front so if you cut the balls out you are cutting up the picture on the other side of the page.  I feel like the activities in the back should have been on a single page and probably perforated for easy removal.

All Is Bright coloring pages detailI also tried out my gel pens on another page and was pleased that the color did not appear to bleed through.   You can see a little bit of the impression on the other side of the page but it's not bad at all.

All in all, this would be a great treat for the Christmas holidays!
