Hi y'all! My name is Rachel and I am a transplanted Westerner living in the South. :) I've been living in the South for about 17 years and I love it!
I love to read and have been reading since I was a girl. I can remember many a trip to the library where my sisters and I would carry home the biggest stack of books we were allowed. Alas, growing up and going to work has taken a toll on my reading time. Also with the introduction of digital media, I couldn't tell you the last time I was in a library. Which is a shame because there's something calming about rows and rows of books. :)
A couple of years ago I was introduced to GoodReads and all those challenges have reignited my interest and drive to read. I've started this blog to help me get into the market of reviewing books for publishers and other book sites. For right now it's just book reviews but I may change that in the future.
Have a blessed day! :)
I am relaunching my Christian Children's Book and would love for you to review it. Please let me know what you think and I can gift you a kindle copy or send you a paperback.

Hi, Rachel:
ReplyDeleteI'm an author who writes Inspirational Women's Fiction. My latest novel is titled Annie Walker.
Life is good for Charlie Walker, with a lot fewer worries since his daddy came home from the war in Korea. His biggest challenge now is to finish his chores so he can go to the creek to swim . . . or that used to be his biggest challenge. Now it's to get used to his new baby sister, Annie. To his surprise, he and younger brother Johnny kind of like her.
For Charlie's best friend, Marvin Huckley, whose daddy didn't come home from Korea, the age of innocence is slipping away. When Charlie is thrust into a situation where he must defend Marvin, he makes a choice that forever alters his world.
Annie Walker is set in fictional Strawberry Ridge, Arkansas, in the mid-1950s, when life was simpler and family meant everything. It is the story of love, loss and the hard lesson of self-forgiveness.
Would you consider reviewing Annie Walker? I could send you a print book, or a PDF if you prefer. And I would be more than happy to do a giveaway for you.
Regards,
Sharon K. Souza

Salutations,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Coral Tulle Hahn. Nearly one year ago I was able to get published. The illustrated poetry book I put together with God's amazing help is called "A Heart Of Ink". I have a review or two from those close to me on Amazon but have redirected (because of the repression of Christian content on social media) for people to purchase a copy via Barnes & Noble. As I discover and expand my knowledge in marketing, I would love to know what you think of this work as there aren't many Christian poetry books out there. This in particular comes with illustrations. I hope to produce a book number two... set to go... when the door opens and also a third as I've been reading the bible this past year with corona going on and imagery or phrases from scripture have stood out to me. Thank you for taking the time to read this e-mail and I hope you get a chance to read a copy of the book.
~Coral Hahn
(I also have a WordPress blog that might also be of your fancy. Tis a Christian medieval fiction with spiritual warfare called "Bloodlines of Blessing")
