I was so excited to be given the opportunity to receive a $25 gift certificate to shop at Family Christian for the purpose of a blog review.  I signed up, received my certificate and here is my review of my experience.  :)

We do not have a Family Christian store where I live so I immediately went online to www.familychristian.com.  The first thing I saw was the banner for the B1G1 50% off sale.  That's awesome!   And there were so many things on sale and the B1G1 50% off applied to those items also!  Everything that this sale applied to was marked with the little sunflower graphic so that made it easy to know if your item was included.  My first thought was that I would get a book since this is mainly a book review blog.   I was disappointed when I realized that I could not get e-books through the website even though they offer an e-reader.  Not to worry though, I don't mind a paperback now and then.  :)  I browsed around and put a book or two in my cart.   But then I started seeing other stuff that I really liked ...hmmm... let's add a coloring book ... oh and look at that DVD that I've been wanting ... let's add that!  LOL  Needless to say, I ended up with more than I could buy in my cart.  SIGH  :D  I finally narrowed it down to a coloring book and a DVD, leaving the books for another time.

My experience with Family Christian was very positive.   The website was easy to use and I had no problem navigating through the different sections and then to my cart.  Checkout was easy and I got an email receipt right away.  I did have a little bit of an issue with using my certificate.  I think it canceled out the B1G1 50% off.   But I had been told by FlyBy that if I were to call Customer Service at Family Christian they would help me out.  I chose not to do that because all in all, I was only paying around $8 (including tax and S&H) for these two items and that's still a really good deal!   I was VERY pleased with the shipping.   I ordered on Wednesday and got my order on Saturday!  Wow!  The packaging was very well done and everything looked good with no damage.   All in all, I'm a very happy customer!!!  :)
