This is a great follow up to the first book, Yesterday's Promise.  You'll definitely want to read the first book before reading this one.  Katie and Collin's struggles and the danger they go through to try to claim her heritage will keep you on the edge of your seat to the end.  I liked the way they are connected from their childhood even though Katie is just beginning to remember.  And I'm a big fan of Scottish stories, so I enjoyed the immersion into 17th century Scotland.  Can't wait to read the 3rd book!

I enjoyed this well written fairy tale.  It seemed like a mix of several familiar fairy tales and yet a new and unique story all its own.

It's the story of a Princess who has been hidden until she turns 18 and can marry the chosen Prince in order to save the land from the curses of an evil Queen.  Adrielle has been raised far out in the country along with 11 brothers and sisters.  After her mother and father die within a short space of each other, Adrielle finds out that none of her siblings want to take her on.  Her only hope seems to be her oldest sister Cecilia who went to live at the castle when Adrielle was just a baby.  With the encouragement of some mysterious help and encountering danger and magic along the way, Adrielle makes her way to the castle.  She finds the Prince and Princess getting ready for their marriage but she gets stuck in the kitchen and can't get anyone to help her find her sister.  Meanwhile she meets Christian and they form a bond that will lead to another dangerous journey and a revelation that changes her world.

With fairies, magic pearls, a wicked Queen, adventures, Princes and Princesses, and a battle between good and evil, you'll enjoy this fast paced fairy tale.  :)

MY REVIEW

I really liked this new book in the Timeless Regency Collection series.   The romances are clean and sweet and fun.  You can't go wrong in reading these books!  :)

In Much Ado About Dancing, Lord Northrup has to find a way to convince Analisa that he's a changed man from the one that left two years ago.  Analisa has to find a way to forget and forgive the man that he was when he left and learn who he is now.  A well written novella with a lovely ending!

In Sweeter Than Any Dream,  Olivia holds onto her sanity by daydreaming about a different life and a perfect man.   Although smart and well read, Olivia has lived with the tyranny of her mother and her aunt for awhile and tries not to make waves.  When her newly married brother and his wife persuade her to sneak out to a ball she meets the man of her dreams.   In order to realize her dream of love she will have to grow a backbone and stand up for herself.   I loved this sweet story of dreams coming true!

In An Invitation To Dance, Lady Ella has been on her own for several years as her grief stricken father travels the world.   She is bold, vibrant, and used to doing things her way.   When she receives a letter from her long-dead fiance at the hands of Alex Darling, she thinks it may be her father surprising her for her birthday.  When she gets to London and learns differently, she finds herself relying on Mr. Darling to help her through the season.   When they start falling in love, Ella has to convince him to let go of his pride and open his heart to her.   I really enjoyed this well written novella about a spunky, unconventional Lady and the gruff proud man who falls in love with her.

MY REVIEW

I love that we get to find out what happens with Charlotte and William from the third book in the Hearthfire Romance series - Marrying Christopher. Charlotte and William are forced together by circumstances beyond their control but they couldn't be more suited for each other than if they had been each others first love. I love their interaction and William's easy acceptance of Charlotte's son. A very sweet short book.

MY REVIEW

I enjoyed this clean regency romance series about two sisters and a brother. The first one is about the oldest, Grace, and her schemes to avoid marriage to the men her scoundrel father is trying to marry her off to in order to pay his debts and support his degenerate lifestyle. Grace is feisty, hard working, and very loyal to her siblings. The story kind of has a Beauty and the Beast vibe going on. While escaping her latest suitor by leaving in the middle of the night, Grace's carriage has a mishap that essentially leaves her at the mercy of the brooding Lord Sutherland. With a little bit of a love triangle with Lord Sutherland's neighbor, Samuel Preston, you get a good dose of regency romance.

I didn't enjoy the second book as much as the first one. The story of Helen starts out parallel to Grace's story so you kind of get the same details just from Helen's point of view. It just didn't flow smoothly for me and I didn't enjoy it a whole lot. The part I did enjoy was getting to know Samuel's daughter. She's a precocious little girl who helps unite the families.

I enjoyed the third book the most. (This one can be read as a stand alone.) The story of Christopher leaving to make his own way after seeing his sisters happily married is fun, adventurous, and romantic. He's determined to avoid women but ends up befriending Marsali almost from the start. I liked Marsali's character a lot. She's had a hard life and is headed for more hardship but she tries to keep a positive attitude and is always kind and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised with the secondary character of the other young lady on board the ship. I liked that she wasn't a spoiled brat and that she becomes friends with Marsali. This story takes some unexpected twists and turns that have you wondering if you are going to get a happy ending but all's well that ends well! :)

When not reading or writing romance, Michele is busy with her full time job as a wife and mother. She and her husband live in Utah with their five high maintenance children and a Shitzu that resembles a teddy bear, in a house with a wonderful view of the mountains.
